Kain Castro, at his makeshift bedroom in his mother's garage in Salinas, CA. Castro was released after serving 4 years in numerous juvenile insitutions since his incarceration at age 14. Castro's father and brother were both incarcerated doing hard time upon his return home. Though a model inmate, Castro found life under the extreme conditions of his probation to be very difficult and soon violated his probation by missing an appointment with his probation officer. He was placed in a gang cell at the county jail, though he insisted he was not gang affiliated and was jumped by gang members. In the course of defending himself he committed a violation of his probation and was charged with another felony, leading to his re-incarceration.

After his release, Kain Castro hangs out at a kickback at his mothers home because he could not be away from the property after 9pm, due to his court imposed curfew. Though a model inmate while incarcerated, Castro was placed on 5 years of strict probation and the marijuana or beer at the makeshift party could be enough to violate his probation and land him back in prison. Castro would later violate his probation and be returned to prison.
